Estimates
Prices on this site are 2026 ranges for the Mobile area so you can budget. The price you pay is the written, itemized estimate you receive after an on-site look, and it's good for the period stated on it (normally 30 days). An estimate is not a contract until you sign it.
Who does the work
Tree work arranged through this site is performed by independent crews that carry general liability and workers' compensation insurance, under the direction of an ISA Certified Arborist. Where the City of Mobile requires a Tree Commission permit and a certified, licensed and bonded arborist (Code § 65-9), that requirement is met. Certificates are available before work begins.
Permits, utilities and wood
We apply for City of Mobile Tree Commission permits and Fairhope, Daphne and Spanish Fort approvals when they apply, and notify Alabama 811 before stump grinding or planting, as state law requires. Work within 10 feet of energized power lines is left to Alabama Power and line-clearance-qualified crews. Debris from our work is chipped or hauled; wood from trees killed by laurel wilt stays on site, chipped, per Alabama Forestry Commission guidance.
Payment
No deposit is due until you've approved the written price and the work is scheduled. Most residential work is paid on completion. Emergency and storm work is priced by phone before a crew rolls and invoiced in writing afterward.
Website
The content on this site is general information about trees and the rules that apply to them in the Mobile area. It is not a tree risk assessment, an arborist's opinion on your specific tree, or legal or insurance advice. Ordinances, fees and landfill rules change; the City's, the towns' and the state's current documents govern.
